About the Fundraiser

Hi! My name is Gray Gordon and I have been a coach at the Bridgehampton Youth Tennis Project (BHYTP) since 2021. My co-director, Oliver Mirsepahi, has also been a coach with the program since 2021. Together, we have partnered with the summer camp at the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center (BHCCRC) to provide tennis instruction to hundreds of kids. Year after year, we have watched grins spread across the children's faces as they excel at the sport that Oliver and I know and love. More importantly, all of the participants have exhibited strong character development, a passion to succeed, and pure enjoyment of their time with us.

The BHYTP is wrapping up its 10th year this August. While this summer has been yet another resounding success, the court that we built for the younger groups (5-8 year olds) at the BHCCRC in 2016 needs to be repaired so that we can continue providing a safe environment in which the children can continue to play tennis. Additionally, to continue providing functional equipment that enhances the children's playing experience, we need to purchase new tennis balls, cones, and overgrows for the racquets. So, with any generous donation, you can help provide a young player with a safe playing environment and proper playing equipment.
